DEAR NEIGHBOR,

I am Chris Miller and I am running for re-election to the Campbell School Board Trustee Area 4!

I am an educator, husband, and father who has served two terms on the school board. During my time, I have supported programs that have increased educational access for ELLs and low-income students throughout our district. In 2018, I was motivated to run for school board to bring an educator’s perspective to our school district. It is because of this desire to serve as well as our unfinished work that I humbly ask for your vote once again.

During the past eight years our community has navigated a global pandemic, declining enrollment and uncertainty at the state and federal level.  In CUSD we have balanced our budget, supported staff raises and returned money to the taxpayers. I want to continue to serve to continue to deliver tangible results for Campbell students, their families, our staff and community at large.

During my next term I will continue to focus on policies and programs which will close the equity gap between our most vulnerable students and their on grade level peers. I will advocate for smaller class sizes, and support staff in classrooms to help students meet their individual needs and fullest potential. I will support district budgets that ensure that Campbell remains one of the most fiscally responsible and financially solvent districts in Santa Clara and throughout the Bay Area.

As your Governing Board Member I look forward to connecting with you, and learning what makes you Campbell Proud. Together we can work in collaboration for CUSD, and the broader community.

I hope I can count on your vote.
